We detailed and carried out paint correction on this striking Red Opel Tigra back in 2009. This is a testament to how long we’ve been doing this at a serious level.

Back then, detailing wasn’t what it is today. There were no YouTube tutorials, no training courses, and no easy access to efficient and specialist products or machines. Proper equipment and quality compounds were nonexistent, with knowledge only coming through experience, and mistakes were far more costly. We learned the hard way, by doing, refining technique car after car.

Despite those challenges, we were able to restore the Opel’s paintwork and bring out a deep, clean gloss that transformed the Tigra. The before-and-after photos tell the story clearly, especially when you consider the tools, products, and limitations of the time.
