Service Focus

Our Level 1 service prioritises seat cleaning. We begin by thoroughly cleaning the seats: for fabric seats, we shampoo, scrub and extract the seats for stain and dirt removal, while leather seats receive a one-step cleaning and protection treatment using Labocosmetica OMNIA.

With the remaining time, we first clean the visible upper areas, then move on to the cabin flooring, and finally address the boot flooring.

Time Allocation

The service is completed within a 5-hour session by one person:

• 1 hour for exterior washing and final detailing
• 4 hours dedicated to interior cleaning

Process Overview

As you read through this list, you’ll see it’s quite comprehensive, especially considering we aim to complete it within 5 hours. If your flooring is in particularly poor condition in terms of general dirt and sand (including under and around the seats), or if your car generally requires more attention, like theres presence of pet hair, Level 2 is a better fit. We understand that budget may be a factor, but it’s important to be aware of the limitations. Rest assured, we’ll do our utmost within the allotted time.

• Declutter if necessary (items placed in a black bag or box)
  • Important:
    • We kindly request clients remove all loose items from their vehicle before bringing it in. We’re happy to do this for you, but it takes valuable time away from cleaning.
    • As with any detailing company, we’re not responsible for loss or damage to items left in the car.

• Exterior Wash: This phase takes 30–40 minutes, with the remaining time devoted to final detailing steps. If your car is very dirty, we recommend adding extra time.

• Clean roof liner, grab handles, lighting, and sun visors by hand (if safe)
• Clean dashboard (note: we never spray directly on surfaces; product is applied to a cloth first) using Labocosmetica OMNIA
• Clean console, including cup holders, cubby holes, and storage areas using Labocosmetica OMNIA and detail brushes, picks and cotton buds and microfiber towels.
• Clean door panels using Labocosmetica OMNIA and detail brushes, picks and cotton buds and microfiber towels.
• In remaining time:
  • Shampoo, scrub, and extract flooring and loose mats
  • Shampoo, scrub, and extract boot area
• Final detailing: 30-40minutes
  • Apply quick detailer to exterior paint for clean and shine
    • Optional: Glaze (modern waxing) from R500 or Clay and Glaze from R850 depending on car size.
    • Note: We also offer more intensive polishing services, ranging from R2,000 to R5,000, depending on car size, condition ito depth of scratches specific requirements.
  • Clean door sills and jambs with quick detailer
  • Clean glass inside and out with Labocosmetica/Mafra glass cleaner
    • If time allows, we roll down windows, clean the inner frame, raise the glass slightly to clean the top, then close and clean both sides
  • Apply water-based dressing to tyres and trim

Cleaning Products

We use high-quality, effective cleaning solutions:

• As standard we use a locally sourced, low-residue, fast-drying shampoo for all fabrics and carpets, this can be upgraded if required.
• Labocosmetica OMNIA (imported from Italy) is used to clean, disinfect, and protect leather, vinyl, and plastic surfaces. Also helps absorb odours and is PFAS-free!

Additional Options

For specific needs such as bad staining, Alcantara/Suede cleaning, or protective coatings, we offer advanced detailing products. These services can be quoted separately upon request.

We offer the respective top products from brands such as 3D, Autoglym, Ceramic Pro, Gtechniq, and Labocosmetica, to name a few.

Time Extension

Extra time is available, but we recommend a maximum of one additional hour. For very dirty vehicles or SUVs, consider our Level 2 service for more comprehensive cleaning. In Level 2, we can remove the seats to reach hard-to-access areas, allowing for more thorough cleaning of the floor and the spaces between seats, seat rails and so on.

Service Focus

Our Level 2 service provides a one full day of deep cleaning and detailing for your vehicle’s interior. This service offers a more thorough cleaning than Level 1, covering the entire interior rather than prioritising specific areas.

By assigning multiple staff members to work simultaneously on your vehicle, we can increase the total man-hours dedicated to cleaning and detailing. This approach ensures that even the dirtiest vehicles are thoroughly cleaned within a single day. (If you are familiar with Project Management this is called Resource Levelling)

Process Overview

Please have a look at the breakdown we have in Level 1. We essentially do all of that with more time so better detail and cleaning.

In addition to the normal cleaning and detailing steps, in Level 2 we can do the following extra:

• If you have specific cleaning and detail needs this can be prioritised.
• More staff can be assigned to increase cleaning and detailing man-hours while maintaining a one-day turnaround.
• Seats can be removed to clean hard-to-reach spots
• Pet hair can be cleaned better

Cleaning Products

As per Level 1, we use high-quality, effective cleaning solutions:

• Labocosmetica OMNIA (imported from Italy), PFAS-free product for leather, vinyl, and plastics that cleans, disinfects, protects, and helps absorb odours

Recommendation

For vehicles with odours etc and or extremely dirty, we recommend considering our Level 3 service for even more intensive cleaning but over a two day period.

Service Focus

Our Level 3 service provides an intensive two-day deep cleaning and detailing for your vehicle’s interior. This service is designed for extremely dirty vehicles or those requiring odour removal.

Regarding dirtier cars, we use the Labocosmetica 2PH interior cleaning system as standard. It is currently the most top of the line car interior cleaning technology available for fabrics and carpet cleaning. See process overview below

Regarding odour removal, two days are required for proper drying. We place a dehumidifier in the vehicle overnight so that the next day we can run an ozone generator which treats the cabin air and surfaces.

Process Overview

In Level 1, we provide a step-by-step breakdown, and in Level 2, we describe additional features. In Level 3 we include everything from Level 1 and 2 and expand the cleaning and detailing time over two days, in particularly to do the odour removal processes properly and effectively and of course cater for extremely dirty cars.

Day 1: Thorough cleaning using specialised tools, products and techniques

• Labocosmetica 2pH cleaning system (i.e. products, brush ware and cleaning technique/process)
• Use of Tornadors, specialised air cleaning tools and special brushes
• Hot Steam vapour cleaning and extraction for deeper cleaning and disinfection

Overnight: Drying using a dehumidifier

Day 2: Final detailing and odour elimination using a DUAL ozone generator treatment for the most thorough odour removal

Cleaning Process: using the Labocosmetica 2pH system

The Labocosmetica 2pH cleaning system is a four-step cleaning process specifically for fabrics and carpets and includes:

1. Thorough removal of fine dust using specialised brass brushes: one for fabrics and another with a different density for carpets.
2. First Shampoo: Remove stains and organic matter by using Labocosmetica GLICO cleaner
3. Second Shampoo: Eliminate mineral deposits and absorb odours with Labocosmetica DUCTILE cleaner
4. Final cleaning with hot steam vapour and extraction

What are the benefits of Labocosmetica 2pH system?

► Eliminates dirt that any and all APC (All purpose) or “dedicated” upholstery cleaners alone cannot remove
► Luminol effect: it highlights the stains that cannot be seen at naked eye! No other automotive cleaners has this feature!
► Eliminates residues and halo or ring type stains derived from products using alkaline-based surfactants only
► Eliminates mineral stains and halos from seats derived from the rain, salt water (sea) or pool, or other poor water quality.
► Eliminates inorganic, mineral and dust residues and mixed dirt stains
► Faster drying of fabrics and carpets
► Fluffy effect: renews the colour and the softness of the fabric

Other Cleaning & Detailing Included:

• We use dedicated cleaners and separate conditioners for leather
• Labocosmetica HYDRA, water based dressing and protectant, or OMNIA for vinyl and plastics

Service Focus

Our Level 4 service caters to vehicles that have suffered severe damage or neglect. This service involves extensive cleaning and restoration, with the removal of seats and flooring or further as required.

This service focuses on deep cleaning to restore to a vehicle to usability. It does not include re-upholstery, repair or material replacement, with the exception of underfelt when necessary. If repairs are needed we can arrange this on your behalf or refer you to trusted providers.

Process Overview

In essence we do everything that we do in Level 3 as well as:

1. As standard we remove seats and flooring in the cabin and the boot area.
   • Complete or further disassembly of interior components is possible if required
   • If we need to remove roof liner, door panels or in the most extreme circumstances the dashboard, we bring in experienced assistance for a professional job.
2. Thorough cleaning and drying of all components, including the vehicle’s base flooring using Labocosmetica 2pH cleaing system, hot steam vapour and other top of the line products and equipment.
3. Proper drying time to prevent stretching of flooring and non-replaceable insulation which can hold a lot of water and take long to dry. Drying is a combination of dehumidification and natural air.

Additional Considerations

The complexity and duration of the service may vary depending on:

• Vehicle size and complexity
• If we need to arrange repairs i.e. rust treatment, electronics etc
• Extent of damage or neglect
• More components to be removed (e.g., dashboard, roof liners, door panels)
